California Competes Tax Credit and Grant Program
|
|
|
The California Competes Tax Credit and Grant Program are ideal for businesses that are expanding rapidly or needing assistance retaining their business in California. The first application period opens today, July 25, 2022, with $85 million in tax credits and $120 million in grants available. Create an account for the online application here.

CALeVIP Incentive Project
|

Nearly $600,000 of the total incentive funding has been provided by Clean Power Alliance for installations at businesses, non-profits, multifamily properties, and government facilities. There is still time for you to apply with more than $1 million in funding for Level 2 EV chargers available.

Child Care Investment Loan Fund
|
|
The Economic Development Collaborative and First 5 Ventura County have developed an investment program to build more early childhood education capacity in the region. The Fund offers low interest financing on loans ranging from $10k to $800k for developing licensed child care and preschool facilities for Ventura County's children. Restaurants - Responsible Beverage Service Training
|
|
Assembly Bill 1221 mandates a new training requirement for alcohol servers and managers of alcohol servers at an estimated 56,000 ABC licensees with on-premises alcohol sales. The alcohol servers and managers who work at those locations must register with the ABC, be trained, pass an exam, and be certified by August 31, 2022, or 60 days after their first date of employment.
