A Barrie-based charity just got a boost to its coffers thanks to a donation from 100 Women Who Care South Simcoe. Fresh Food Weekly, founded by Leah in June 2022, provides a free monthly meal box delivery program to low-income families residing in the Barrie and Innisfil. Read more

The 30^th annual Mariners’ Service and Blessing of the Great Lakes Fleet recently took place, presented by the International Shipmaster’s Association. The event was organized by Capt. Seann O’Donoughue, president of the Georgian Bay-Huronia chapter of the association. Read more

A proud member of the White Bear First Nation in Saskatchewan, and Social Service Worker grad from Georgian, Jama has joined the Native Child and Family Services of Toronto Board of Directors. He was one of the first recipients of the Indigenous Sprit Award in 2021. Read more
