Savior: He Cleanses Us"
Whenever our clothes become stained, we try our hardest to clean them…and we know how hard it is to get some stains out! But what about our “uncleanness” before God because of our sinfulness? As we continue our Lenten series, “Savior”, we acknowledge that, in our sin, we are “dirty”, “filthy”, “polluted” before our holy God. In His holiness, God cannot stand to be in our presence; the “stain” of our sinfulness is offensive to Him! But as the writer of Hebrews declares, the blood of Christ “purifies” us of our sin. As Jesus hangs on the cross, covered with dirt, stinking of sweat, stained with His blood, He is actually making us “clean”. Our Savior cleanses us at the cross, “not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience…” (1 Peter 3:21)

Lenten Midweek Sermon Series
In View of God's Mercy

Lent is a season when we take a look at our lives in view of God’s mercy toward us in the sacrifice of his Son for us on the cross. We, in turn, are called by God, specially during this time of repentance and reflection, to be living sacrifices for him, displaying our devotion to him in word and deed. Jesus helps us to see the richness of God’s mercy in his life, death and resurrection.
The services in our Midweek Lenten series for Lent focus our eyes of faith on the meaning behind God’s mercy made manifest in Christ.
Lenten Supper and Service Schedule

Join us for Easter Breakfast
Plans are underway for our annual "sit down" Easter Breakfast. A signup board is located in the Narthex. Items needed include coffee cakes, breakfast breads, fruit trays, egg casseroles, etc. We will also need many hands to make this event run smoothly.
Please consider signing up to help, and plan to bring your family and friends for a time of good food and fellowship on Easter morning. Breakfast will be served from 9:00 - 10:30AM in the gymnasium. Please contact Nancy Mayor (nancy.mayor@gmail.com) if you have any questions. Thank you in advance!
It's Time to Place Easter Lily Orders
Throughout Lent, as Easter approaches, we remember Jesus’ sacrifice for us on Good Friday and His resurrection on Easter that we may have eternal life with Him. On Easter Sunday, Easter Lilies are placed on the Altar in celebration of our Savior’s resurrection. Please consider purchasing an Easter Lily to beautify the sanctuary on Easter Sunday and in thanksgiving for the gift of eternal life.
A member of the Altar Guild will be in the narthex taking orders for lilies after each Sunday service on March 27 and April 3. The price per lily is $14.00. Easter Lilies may be taken after the Easter services.
Mark your calendars!
