Spring Programming and Summer Camp
Registration Open Next Week!
With warmer weather on the horizon, we're looking forward to Spring and Summer programming! Our Spring 2023 Programming Guide and 2023 Summer Camps Guide have everything you need to stay busy throughout both seasons.

Here's a glimpse of what we have in store for the spring: You Make Me Daisy Parent/Tot Cooking Class, Colorado Rockies Baseball Outings, Big Person/Little Person Golf League at Springhill, Zumba Gold, Blooms of the Prairie Program, Welcome to the Jungle Camp and so much more! The Spring Programming Guide will be available to browse on Monday, Jan. 31 at AuroraGov.org/ProgrammingGuide. Registration opens on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

For summer, we've got a camp for every kiddo. Embrace the outdoors with nature camps at Star K Ranch or the Aurora Reservoir. Tap into your creative side with cooking, theatre and art camps. Encourage curious minds through history, STEM and coding camps. Enjoy friendly competition through a variety of sports camps. New for summer 2023, we now offer day-to-day camps. The Summer Camp Guide will be available to browse on Monday, Jan. 31 at AuroraGov.org/DayCamps. Registration opens on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
Leave the Kids With Us on Friday Night
Parents! Are you in need of a Friday night to yourself? Date night? Shopping? Well then have your kids join us for a Parents Night Out on Friday, Feb. 3 or Feb. 10.

From 5 to 8:15 p.m. we'll eat pizza, watch a movie, swim and have lots of fun at Central Recreation Center. This program is for ages 6 to 12 and costs $15 per child.

Tour Our Brand New Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse

After much anticipation, the Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse, located at 25400 E. Alexander Drive, is officially open!

This first-of-its-kind facility boasts a multi-use gymnasium, a dynamic track, a large fitness area featuring indoor and outdoor turf, a 23,000-square-foot indoor fieldhouse, a 125,000-gallon swimming pool and more.

Join us for a grand opening ceremony from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

Resources to Dispose of Paint and Household Chemicals
There are a number of programs and resources throughout the city to help residents recycle or dispose of household hazardous waste.

If chemicals are not properly disposed of, they can harm sanitation workers, create problems in sewage treatment plants and landfills, or pollute the water or air. Help do your part and take advantage of these opportunities available in and for Aurora residents:

The indigenous people who call Colorado’s plains home have a long and rich history. Discover what daily life was like for native people living on the great plains and learn about the history of indigenous people of the Colorado prairie.
