Mindfulness Meditation Series
Compassion, Forgiveness and Equanimity Four-Week Class on Tuesday nights beginning May 21, 2024 from 6pm-7:15pm
May 21, 28, June 4, 11, 2024 from 6pm-7:15pm.
Classes can be taken in-person at the studio or online on Zoom.
Mindfulness Meditation is a valuable practice to skillfully navigate our daily lives. It is an invitation to get to know ourselves better. In this 4-session series, we will focus on the beneficial practices of compassion, forgiveness and equanimity for self and others to open and be a bridge for healing, growth and peace in all of our relationships.
Each class will include:
• Gentle movement appropriate for all participants to sit or stand (10 min.);
• Talk relevant to Compassion, Forgiveness and Equanimity (20 min.), topics to include:
What is Compassion? What does Forgiveness mean?;
Practicing Compassion and Forgiveness for self;
Practicing Compassion and Forgiveness for others;
What is Equanimity and how do we practice this for self and others?; and
The Practice of “RAIN”- Recognize, Allow, Investigate and Nurture”
to sustain Lovingkindness for self and others;
• Guided Meditation practice ( 20 min.): and
• Question and Answer time (10-15 min.)
Registration is required for all four classes. Both New and Experienced Meditators Welcome!
