Working in NW British Columbia
Students studying in Canada might wonder about employment opportunities after they graduate. Those participating in the Post-Graduation Work Permit program will have plenty of opportunities to find work in NW B.C.

For example, the Mills Memorial Hospital in Terrace is currently undergoing an expansion. Upon completion in 2024, there will be an increased need for health and social care workers to support the region.
Just south of Terrace, construction on the LNG Canada project is still underway and will continue well into 2025. The project employs over 4,000 people and prioritizes hiring locals. There are a variety of roles available, and not just in the construction industry. When the facility is complete, it's estimated there will be 300 - 450 permanent jobs available.

These are just two examples of the growth happening in NW B.C. and the exciting opportunities for employment.
Student Housing
As profiled in our previous newsletter, the new student housing building at the Terrace campus continues to serve our students, both domestic and international.

The new building has 108 beds, specially commissioned artwork that enhances the hallways and common areas, state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, and several other services to support students during their studies at our Terrace campus.
There are common areas (pictured to the left and below) and private study rooms on each of the three floors, allowing students to gather, study, and relax right where they live.

Visit this link on our website for more information on the services included with on-campus housing.
