Equipping farmers to build resilient farms and communities.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE
It has been said that those who keep their eyes on the horizon will find the right path. At Practical Farmers of Iowa's 2022 annual conference, we are “Facing the Horizon” together, seeking new knowledge, broader understanding and unexpected ways to improve our farms and communities.

We're looking forward to gathering again in-person to reunite with old friends and make new ones, Jan. 21 - 22, in Ames, Iowa. Visit our website to read about our plans for 61 farmer-led sessions, our keynote speaker, PFI storytelling, several new activities -- and to get registered.
Livestock farmers: Are you struggling to find a good butcher? Or are you thinking about including silvopasture on your farm? The PFI annual conference will have sessions on all of these topics and more!

Since its inception, PFI has focused on farmer-to-farmer education. Farmers have voiced their preference for exchanging ideas and sharing details of their experiences with each other—both what worked well for them and what didn’t.

Learning is a key component of our farmer-led education programs. But network-building is just as key. Our data shows that PFI members who have a supportive network are more successful at making changes to their farms that reflect their values and goals.

We ask for your financial support today to grow our network so we can provide more people with access to information and a network that facilitates change.
