Community Service Officers Debut New Fleet Vehicles
The Town of Bennett recently introduced the Community Service Officer program and now their vehicles are easier to spot than ever! Our CSOs are here to help keep the Bennett community safe, happy and healthy by assisting residents with code compliance, animal control and parking safety. If you see their vehicles around town, stop by and say hello. Our officers are here to help and always happy to work with our neighbors on the continued goal of a happy living environment in Bennett.

You can contact the Community Service Department here.
Public Works Continues Progress on Purple Pipe Project
One of the Town’s current priority projects is installing Purple Pipe in Bennett. Purple Pipe allows for use of recycled water at Town Parks.

Funding for this project came largely from an Adams County Open Space Grant and over 2,220 linear feet have been installed. The goal is to have the remaining purple pipe installed by mid-April 2022. The recycled water will be used for irrigation of Trupp Park.

If you have questions or would like more information about the project you can contact the Public Works Department  here
Town of Bennett Local Emergency Alerts
It is important to stay informed when there are local emergency situations like weather advisories, road closures or emergency water shut offs. An example of this is on March 22, 2022 the Town of Bennett Public Works Department spotted a water line break. In order to efficiently fix this, the team had to shut off water to a small area. The Public Works Department was able to work swiftly to ensure the water was not shut off for a long period of time.

Thanks to CodeRED emergency alerts, residents were quickly notified of the situation through phone calls, emails and text messages. CodeRED serves as an important tool for communications outreach in circumstances like this but it is important that residents opt-in and create profiles so they can receive personalized alerts for their homes.

All residents living within the Town of Bennett limits are encouraged to enroll here using their phone numbers, emails and addresses. No one should assume they are automatically registered in the contact database and residents are encouraged to create an account so they can personalize their notification settings.

Residents can also sign up for alerts by texting ‘BENNETTALERTS” to 99411.

The registration link can be found here. More information on CodeRED can be found online at www.onsolve.com.
