Dear Saint Mark Family,
I pray you are observing a holy Lent.
We are journeying with Jesus throughout these forty days, as he set his face towards Jerusalem. Let us be intentional about our practices and ways of being during these days, so we can become mature disciples of Jesus Christ.
There are wonderful things happening at Saint Mark in this season of our church, and I am inviting you to participate in all the ways you can.
Our weekly Vesper service on Wednesdays, at noon, continues throughout Lent.
Disciple 1 Classes, facilitated by Paul Winslow, will begin this Sunday, March 5th. The classes will be on Sundays, during the Sunday School hour, and Sunday evenings at 5pm.
New membership classes will be on March 13th, 20th, and 27th at 6pm. Classes will be held by Zoom.
We will host a community Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza on April 8 at 10am. We will welcome our neighbors and residents of our Midtown community to a fun time hosted by us.
Mark your calendars and take the opportunity to participate in one or more of these opportunities, along with the others happening in the life of our church.
This Sunday, we will celebrate Rev Josh’s ministry at Saint Mark. It will be his last Sunday with us, and he will be preaching at both services. There will be a reception for him in Wade Hall, starting at 9:45.
