UPDATE: Pathways to Health Equity Call for Proposals
The deadline to submit applications for the Health Equity Resource Community (HERC) Pathways to Health Equity Call for Proposals was December 7. The Pathways Call for Proposals generated 40 proposals requesting more than $42 million. Applications were received from urban, suburban, and rural communities throughout the state. Nineteen of the proposals would serve areas previously designated as Health Enterprise Zones. A listing of the applications can be found here.
Over the next few weeks, the proposals will be evaluated by a review committee comprised of CHRC Commissioners and HERC Advisory Committee members. Each proposal will be scored on the review criteria listed in the Call for Proposals. Following this review period, a select number of top scoring applicants will be invited to present at a CHRC Commission meeting in February, and grant awards will be made shortly thereafter. The CHRC has approximately $13 million to award for these two-year Pathways grants.
