Ames Town & Gown

Award-winning duo Megan Moore and Francesco Barfoed will be performing a concert of traditional vocal repertoire including Schumann and Rachmaninoff, music of Denmark, and new works based on texts of nonverbal youth with autism. The concert will be held in Simon Estes Music Hall's Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall on ISU campus.

Black Hair and Storytelling

St. Clair Detrick-Jules is an award-winning filmmaker, photographer, author, and activist. She captures personal stories and intimate moments centering Black liberation, immigrant justice, and women’s rights. Her debut book, My Beautiful Black Hair: 101 Natural Hair Stories from the Sisterhood, showcases the photographs and stories of Black women embracing their crowns.

The Iowa State football program will conclude its spring season with a Spring Game on Saturday, April 22 at 11 a.m. at MidAmerican Energy Field at Jack Trice Stadium. Admission to the game will be free to the public.
