We are less than a day away from HVPTO's Annual Dolphin Dash at View & Vista! And only a few more days from the Valley Dolphin Dash on Wednesday, May 1st. 

We have raised $70,400 of our $85,000 goal so far.

If you have yet to register your student, don’t worry, there is still time. Just CLICK HERE and don’t forget to share your Pledgestar link to qualify for all of the cool incentives and raffle prizes. You only have to register ONCE as a family, then add each of your students as runners - your share link and emails count for any/all students in your family!

All students will receive a Dolphin Dash t-shirt on the day of the event!

And speaking of incentives... The competition for top earning classes is heating up! Ms. Lange's Kindergarten class is leading the way at View! Ms. Sugden’s 4th Grade class is 1st at Vista! Over at Valley, Ms. Vizzi’s 5th Grade class is at the top! The full LEADERBOARD can be seen HERE.

With the help of our room parents, it will be a love story as we indulge our staff with treats to let our staff know they belong with HVS. But we need your help! Sign up HERE to either make or buy a treat for our staff to kickoff the week on Evers'mores day, Monday, May 6th!

HVPTO's Annual Memorial Day Parking Lot Fundraiser couldn't happen without our 3 Day Chair Volunteers, each responsible for one day of the weekend. We have 2, but are in need of a third for this important fundraising opportunity.

It's an easy volunteering opportunity that brings in about $4,000 to our schools each day ($12,000 for the whole weekend). Without a third Day Chair, that's a lot of money that won't be available to fund things like Lunch Clubs, Field Trips, and much more!

Help us make “disaster” less of a scary word by doing everything in our power to Be Ready for the unexpected. For instance, has your family put together an emergency prep kit yet? When disaster strikes, it's important to have the necessary supplies readily available to ensure the safety of you and your loved ones. Go to www.hermosabeach.gov/beready for everything you need to know “Before, During, and After” disasters occur. There you will find a “Go Bag, Go Time” checklist so that you can start checking boxes, and before you know it, you’ll have a solid kit.

MCHS Drama Tech had a fantastic opening weekend! There are 5 more chances to catch this production before it closes May 4th. Please note the show on Wednesday, May 1st at 4pm will sell tickets for $5 at the door only (no presale).  This is the same amazing production but at reduced price to encourage our entire community to come enjoy local theatre.
