9:00 AM in Room 154. Teacher Pastor Joel Gibbel. This week we will be covering Church of the Brethren emphases on social responsibility, especially peace, service, and outreach. Assigned reading is Chapters 7, 8, and 9 of "To Follow in Jesus' Steps."
Children's Sunday School Classes
9:00 AM in Rooms 151, 152, and 155. Children grades PreK (age 4) and up will have class lessons, with singing included as well. Children ages 3-4 and younger are welcome to attend nursery care.
Youth Sunday School Class
9:00 AM in Room 149. Teacher Dave Witkovsky. The Youth will be preparing for Youth Sunday during the Sunday School hour. This class is for youth in grades 7-12.
Vine and Branches Sunday School Class
9:00 AM in the Anna Mow Room. Teacher Sam Weyant. The class is following the "Guide for Biblical Studies" curriculum entitled "Examining Our Faith."
Lamplighters Sunday School Class
9:00 AM in Room 145. Teacher Cathy Carson. This week we will be continuing “The Upside Down Apocalypse,” a study of the book of Revelation.
Homebuilders Class

YARD SALE DROP-OFF'S - ON HOLD !
NO DELIVERIES will be taken Monday, May 6 through Saturday, May 11. Kathy Kovacs will be away and will not be here to take any items for June yard sale. Drop off's will resume May 12th at the Church Garage.
Also, sign-up sheets will be available in the Hospitality Center on Sunday, May 12 for volunteers, donated food items and help before and after the yard sale. Your help is appreciated for this yard sale.

The magnificence of butterflies taking flight will highlight the 17th Annual Butterfly Release, held to benefit the Good Samaritan Fund at Cross Keys Village, which supports residents who have exhausted their financial resources. Money is raised through butterfly sponsorships, which honor or memorialize a loved one.
The 2024 Butterfly Release will take place at the Cross Keys Village pond, starting at 10:00 on Sat., May 11.
Please Note:
The names of honored or departed loved ones will be read aloud prior to the butterflies being released. Online butterfly sponsorships will be accepted until May 3. Please sponsor your butterfly by May 1 for inclusion in the list of names.
Butterfly sponsorships will continue up to and including the day of the event, according to supply. Please call our Foundation office at 624-5208 to reserve a butterfly or if you have any questions, and see you on May 11!

SAVE YOUR USED STAMPS TO
BENEFIT CROSS KEYS VILLAGE
Cross Keys Village sorts used stamps for profit. The money from these stamps is used to provide some much needed items to the campus community. You may drop your stamps here at York First in the box located in the Anna Mow Room.
Thanks for your used stamps that benefits the residents at the home, please keep them coming! This project goes all year long.

Lehman Center "Wish List"
Items for donation to the Lehman Center are being collected in the basket in the Gathering Area. Due to changes in the food pantry operations, these must be collected separately from food
pantry supplies.

Here are some items that are needed at Lehman Center:
Instant pudding (chocolate, banana)
Instant jello (orange, blue, green, grape, cherry)
Can fruit (pears, pineapples, fruit cocktail)
Applesauce (individual or jar)
Can vegetables (lima beans, peas, green beans)
Baby food - all stages Baby snacks

Since 2011 our Witness Team has sponsored the Cash for Causes program by selling Giant & Weis gift cards. The church receives 5% of sales to support various ministries. For 2024 the gift card sales will support The Lehman Center (Children’s Aid Society), New Community Project, and Carlisle Truck Stop Ministry. You may purchase the cards in amounts of $100, $50, $25, or $10. The cards make great gifts, especially at holidays. Consider donating cards to the Food Pantry or using them yourself any time you shop at Giant or Weis.
