National Volunteer Month is time to say thanks -- and get involved!

There are so many focus areas of awareness during the month of April: environmental causes including Earth Day, various health causes, and, of course, it's National Volunteer Month.

National Philanthropy Day is the special day set aside to recognize and pay tribute to the impact of philanthropy in the world around us. It's a day to honor those people active in the philanthropic community who have made our lives, our communities, and our world a better place.

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) recently released the Request for Proposal (RFP) for Supervised Independent Living Services RFP #437007-M22-0001968. The goal of the Supervised Independent Living (SIL) Program is to provide eligible youth with SIL services allowing youth to successfully transition out of out-of-home care into quality and sustainable living arrangements.  

Please visit the State of Wisconsin eSupplier website and search for “Supervised Independent Living” in the Current Solicitations section of the website to review the RFP documents. If your organization is not currently registered in eSupplier DCF encourages you do so. By being registered, your organization will receive an e‑mail message each time a State agency, including any campus of the University of Wisconsin Systems, posts a competitive procurement with an estimated value over $50,000 for the commodity/service area(s) designated by the organization.
