While not all World Affairs Councils are membership organizations, many have found sustaining value in the opportunities generated by and for members. In some cases, a well-considered membership model can generate substantial revenue and grow the reach and impact of the organization. Join Council leaders from across the country on Thursday, August 18, at 3:00 pm ET, as they share their experiences and insights into membership structures and benefits, as well as their best tips for optimizing membership revenue.
This session will feature Council leaderships from World Affairs Council of Charlotte, World Affairs Council of Jacksonville, and Global Santa Fe.

SAVE THE DATE! The World Affairs Councils of America, in partnership with Global Santa Fe, will present this months author Elliot Ackerman on Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 2:00-3:00 PM ET.
Elliot Ackerman is both a former White House Fellow and Marine, and served five tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he received the Silver Star, the Bronze Star for Valor, and the Purple Heart. He is the author of the novels, Red Dress In Black and White, Waiting for Eden, Dark at the Crossing, and Green on Blue, as well as the memoir Places and Names: On War, Revolution and Returning.
