The most recent General Conference of the United Methodist Church concluded on May 3. After 10 days of prayerful conversation, debate, and voting, several pieces of important legislation and changes in language within the discipline have been approved. Below are links to two resources that provide an overview of the changes that took place in the United Methodist Church’s Book of Discipline. The document outlines what changes were made at the General Conference and was produced by the Holston Conference. Click HERE to read the document. Pentecost Picnic & Special Joining Opportunity

Join us in celebrating Pentecost at FFUMC's special Pentecost Picnic! We're gathering on the lawn for a joyful occasion as we commemorate the birth of the church. Also, if you've been considering becoming a member of FFUMC, this is a perfect opportunity for you! During our Pentecost Sunday morning worship service at 10:30 am, we'll have a special moment dedicated to welcoming new members. Following the service, we are throwing a party on the lawn with free food, organized games, and wonderful fellowship. Rain or shine! Join us at FFUMC for our community-wide movie night on the lawn! Bring a chair or blanket, your favorite snacks, and your favorite friends to enjoy a family-friendly movie outside. In case of wet weather, we will move inside to the Worship Center.

Join us for an evening of food and fellowship at Our Daily Bread event! Taking place on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 5:30 pm, we'll gather at Cazzy's Corner Restaurant located at 2099 Thunderhead Road, Knoxville, TN 37922. Diners are welcome to choose from the restaurant's menu, allowing for a personalized dining experience.
