46th Annual Educator of the Year Ceremony

School district representatives are cordially invited to a formal dinner on April 29 at the Q Center, 1405 North Fifth Ave., St. Charles, IL. Social hour begins at 5:30pm with dinner being served at 6:30pm. Tickets are available beginning April 1 through local district offices.

Creating a Culture of Care Through Mindful Practice

April 12 | 9:00-Noon

This course is designed to enable participants to understand the benefits of incorporating mindful practices into school-wide protocols. Research, evidence-based practices, and resources will be shared, discussed, and demonstrated. Strategies will be introduced, providing benefits of using mindfulness as a component of school improvement to enhance staff communication, further social emotional learning, and supplement trauma awareness. Time will be provided within the academy to develop an action plan for staff professional development needs, community outreach, and program development.
