The 10/40 Window is a geographical location located 10 degrees north to 40 degrees north latitude. There are about 5.33 billion people living within the parameters of the 10/40 window and out of those people 3.28 billion are considered to be a part of unreached people groups. There is much resistance to Christianity in this region and many countries have made it very difficult for the spreading of the "Good News" of Jesus by not allowing cross-cultural workers into the countries, banning Bibles, and arresting people who become Christians. The 10/40 window's majority religions are Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Several of the countries in the 10/40 window are Farsi speaking and they desperately need Christian resources.
The countries of Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan are all located within the 10/40 window. Those countries are home to over 120 million Farsi speakers. These countries do not have formal bible believing churches and false theology or doctrine is easily spread throughout the underground and house churches. Solid Christian materials through print and audio are highly sought after and the cross-cultural workers for TPPM are working to get material translated as quickly as possible.
TPPM has been able to partner with others to translate books, websites, audio resources, and seminary materials into Farsi. They team is continuing to work on translations in the areas of study books for seminary students, commentaries for each book of the Bible, new audio series, and homeschool materials. Some of these projects are fully funded, but not all of them. If you are interested in supporting the team, please consider making a donation to TPPM. We are so thankful for the cross-cultural team that is working diligently to translate materials and serve God with the abilities he has given them to do this task.
