A 90-minute walking tour of this Christian non-profit group that helps small-scale farmers produce food to feed their families and communities. They seek to provide solutions to problems of growing food in difficult conditions. Click Here to visit their website.

You may put your check for the admission fee in the offering plate made out to Emmanuel Lutheran Church and put ECHO tour in the memo line at the bottom. We are hoping to car pool and bring a bag lunch to enjoy time in their picnic area.

Calling all Sewers!!

Our Dorcus Quilters are in need of people to put their quilt tops together. There are packets of 12 large squares available to sew together, with 1/2" seams, and return for the quilters to do their handiwork on Monday's.

Pick-up a packet in the Welcome Center.

The quilters are also in need of sheets for the backing of their quilts.

All items may be placed in the bin in the Narthex.

Being in cold and flu season, we need our Vitamin C! Even though it can’t PREVENT illness, it will shorten recovery time if you get sick. We need 200 mg. of vit. C per day to boost our immune response. If you don’t want to take another pill, here is where you can get your C:

1 medium orange 70 mg.                                          1 cup cooked Brussel Sprouts 118mg.
1 cup strawberry halves 89 mg.                               1 med. raw red bell pepper 152 mg.
