Presidents' Day Weekend is Coming


American River College will be closed Friday, February 17 and Monday, February 20 in observance of Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln's birthdays. No classes will be held and all college offices will be closed. View the Spring 2023 Academic Calendar for all holidays and deadlines this semester.

students! Scholarships can help you pay for your education or related expenses. Make sure to submit your application early so you have time to get a letter of recommendation — a faculty member, counselor, or employer are all good options! The deadline to apply is Friday, March 3.

Grad Petition Deadline is March 3

Only three weeks left! If you are planning on completing your associate degree or certificate requirements this semester, Friday, March 3 is the deadline to petition to graduate.

The Mousetrap


Find out why, for almost 70 years, Agatha Christie's play The Mousetrap has kept literally millions of people from every corner of the globe on the edge of their seats! This popular murder mystery opens at American River College Theatre Friday, February 17 for a two week run, closing Sunday, February 26. All performances of The Mousetrap will be at American River College's Mainstage Theatre, 4700 College Oak Drive, Sacramento. Masks and vaccinations are recommended but not required. Parking is free (in non-staff spaces) next to the theatre at the corner of College Oak and Myrtle. For tickets and more information, go to ARCTheatre.org.
