THIS WEEK'S HIGHLIGHT
RESEARCH, PUBLICATIONS & PRESENTATIONS
Research by Associate Professor Mugur Geana adds to the evidence that political ideology can be a social determinant of health, especially during public health crises. Read the KU News story.
STUDENT NEWS & OPPORTUNITIES
The Eudora Times’ first printed edition featuring a full-color sports section recapping the school district's notable fall season is available for a small donation at Twill Trade, Zeb's Coffeehouse and Barbwire Barbecue. Stories are by students Chris Fortune, William Crow and Emily Binkley. Make sure to follow The Eudora Times on Facebook and read www.eudoratimes.com.
As we approach the end of the semester, we want to remind students about the Nutrition Nook in Room 113 in Stauffer-Flint Hall. The Nutrition Nook shelves and refrigerator are fully stocked, and we encourage students to take what they need, especially if they need food over the semester break. We also have grocery and gas gift cards provided by donors and can help anyone who has specific dietary requirements or other needs. Please contact Associate Dean Scott Reinardy at [email protected], Assistant Dean Frances Lyons at [email protected], or email [email protected] for additional assistance.

The KC Ad Club invites students to participate in the American Advertising Awards on Feb. 12, the largest and most representative advertising competition. Through this experience, participating students will get the chance to network with Kansas City’s top advertising professionals, have opportunities for showcasing work locally or nationally, and meet professionals across the country.
