Claremont Heritage is thrilled to unveil its 2024 theme, “Preserve, Restore, Renew” and announce the highly anticipated 2024 Annual Awards Gala, "Preservation Celebration" This extraordinary evening promises an elegant three-course meal, the presentation of our prestigious awards, captivating online and live auctions, and a delightful journey through Claremont's rich history via our ever-popular trivia game! Special Guest EMCEE - Charles Phoenix


This special night is being held at the historic Padua Hills Theatre on Friday, May 17th.


AWARDS:

Claremont Heritage will bestow the esteemed Bess Garner Preservation Award upon Hartman Baldwin and present the Cultural Heritage Award to Brian Worley, founder of Art & Restoration Inc.

HARTMAN BALDWIN is known for their sensitive historic restorations in Claremont and beyond. Under the leadership of co-founder Bill Baldwin, the company has developed into one of the leading design/build firms in the nation.



With over 35 years of working in the Architecture & Construction industry, HARTMAN BALDWIN has built an impressive list of notable clients and significant projects. As well as developed a loyal team that consists of talented and award-winning LEED accredited Architects, Certified Interior Designers, Project Managers, Craftsmen and Artisans.

Brian Worley Art + Restoration Inc.


Robert Brian Worley was born October 4, 1949, in Riverside, California. while attending Pomona College, Brian started working at the Millard Sheets mosaic studio on Foothill Boulevard, where, under the supervision of his Aunt Nancy Colbath, and later, Denis O'Connor and Sue Hertel, he worked on many of the large murals Millard Sheets was commissioned to do for 80 Home Savings and Loan buildings and delivered many of them to sites for installation.


More recently Brian has contracted on many projects saving mosaic and tile murals from buildings slated for destruction, including removal from its original Santa Monica site of the 40' x 16' mosaic mural, "Pleasures Along the Beach" and reinstallation above the entrance to the Hilbert Museum in Orange, CA.
