SPCA Walk 4 Paws

GVCO Caring Hands volunteers raised a whopping

$736.17

for the benefit of the Brandywine Valley SPCA and its Walk for Paws event that occurred this past weekend.

Special thanks to the many families that spent the time and effort baking cookies, cakes, brownies and lots of other yummy goodies for the bake sale. And lets not forget about the student volunteers, and future sales executives, who spent the day making the bake sale a great success!

Flowers for Green Meadows

For the past several years, GVCO Caring Hands has supported the many individuals staying at the Green Meadows Rehabilitation and Nursing Center located next to the Paoli Hospital. It is a wonderful cause that brings lots of smiles when the flowers are delivered.

Volunteers are needed on Sunday, May 19th from 12-1PM to make flower pots

Let's do it again! The community stepped up in a big way last March so GVCO will host the Red Cross once again! GVCO will make this an annual event at the new GVCO Community Center each September and March. As a community, there seems to be nothing better to do than to help save lives!

GVCO Caring Hands is looking for new student volunteers for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. All rising 7th through 12th grade students are eligible to sign up.

Simple Steps Medicare Seminar

June 11th at 9AM at GVCO

Dana Matkovic will be returning for her bi-monthly Medicare 101 seminars. These very informative, interactive seminars are always full of great questions about everything "Medicare". Dana's many years in the business allows her to share her vast knowledge through Q&A in a small group setting. One of the key topics at this session will be a popular discussion piece Simple Steps to Prevent Falls. As a person moves into their mid 6o's, and reaches Medicare age, simple losing your balance and getting injured in a fall becomes an unexpected issue. Dana will draw from years of experience and share some thoughts and statistics. Once again throughout the session Dana will answer any, and all question revolving around many of the confusing issues with Medicare.
