Sunday School Hour
Sundays from 10:00-11:00 am
We have Sunday School classes available for our youth and adults during the 10:00 am hour. Preschool and Elementary Sunday School takes place during the Worship hour following the children's message.
Join us for donuts, kolaches, and coffee in the parlor before Sunday School starts!
Childcare for Infants-PreK: check-in will be in Rooms 119 and 120.
Childcare for K-5th grade: check in will be in the John and Polly Collier High Court.

A Message From the Staff Parish Relations Committee:
Farewell Reception for Lynne Jackson
After 31 years of service to our church, Lynne Jackson has announced that she will be stepping down as Director of Music Ministries. As you might know, her husband, Craig, retired from the Houston Police Department on March 31. They have decided to move to the Hill Country to enjoy the next chapter in their lives.
We will miss Lynne greatly and cherish the many wonderful memories we have with her. We are grateful for her devoted work creating and leading the many music programs at WUM and we are blessed by her gifts and dedicated service.
Please join us as we celebrate her service to the church in the John and Polly Collier High Court following Worship on June 2. We will be collecting a love offering to present to her at the celebration. If you would like to donate towards this, please make a contribution to the church and make a notation that you would like it to go to the "Lynne Jackson Love Offering" or simply bring a card with your gift to the celebration.
In addition, we will be creating a few things to commemorate the many wonderful memories we have of Lynne’s time here. If you have any pictures of performances with Lynne over the years, or with Lynne and the choir, Lynne with kids at Christmas Alive, the handbells, etc., please send them to Kim Weill at kfweill@att.net so she can put together a photo slide show.
Similarly, we are creating a video montage (or "Tribute") for Lynne where people can record a short message telling Lynne how much they have loved having her here. You can record a short video by clicking here. It will only take you a minute to film and submit your video. It should make for an unforgettable gift that shares our collective love and appreciation for her 31+ years at our church.

Stewardship Update
Your stewardship dollars are at work in our ministries! We are getting ready to make a big improvement on our playgrounds. Soon the playgrounds will have artificial turf installed on them. We are excited about this improvement and look forward to the benefit it will have for our preschoolers.
If you’d like to help support ministries like this and haven’t yet made a pledge, pledge cards may be found in the pews and the Narthex. You may place your completed card in the offering plate. Additionally, you can fill out a pledge card digitally on our website.

Did you know...
That last year our School celebrated its 75th year of caring for and educating children in our community? WUMS has made such an impact that former students are now enrolling their children, and some former students have even become teachers at our school! Once you walk through our doors you have built a community for life!

School of Fine Arts Recitals

Our annual spring recitals are the high point of our year. All are encouraged to come and enjoy the performances of our children and youth students!

VBS 2024-Start the Party
Registration opens Monday!!
Mark your calendars! Monday morning at 9:00 am VBS registration will open. VBS will take place from July 29th to August 2nd from 9:00 am-12:00 pm daily. Our theme for this year is Start the Party, and it is sure to be the best week of the Summer! VBS is offered for incoming K-5th graders.

Elementary Summer Camp
Registration now open!
If you have a student wanting to participate in one of our fun-filled camp sessions, make sure to register them ASAP. Spots are filling up quickly. Summer camp is open to children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade.
There are 6 sessions for camp:
Session 1: June 10-14
Session 2: June 17-21
Session 3: June 24-28
NO CAMP WEEK OF JULY 4
Session 4: July 8-12
Session 5: July 15-19
Session 6: July 22-26
Camp is divided by age group, so make sure you register your child for the proper group! You can register your child by clicking here.

Make an Impact on the Lives of Our Youth: Volunteers Needed
