Beulah Beach is an Alliance camp in Ohio that sends their highly energetic staff to bring camp to us! This weeklong day camp will be packed with activities and fun, such as wacky water games, crazy songs, sports, hilarious skits, team competitions, and so much more. All week, kids will be connecting with God and with each other in a summer camp experience they won't soon forget!

Kids Ministry Update

Alice Wiley, our Kids Ministry Director, is having hip replacement surgery this week. She will be out of the office for two weeks for recovery and slowly reengaging. Please, be praying for Alice as she undergoes this procedure and heals.

Announcing a New Way to Join the Kids Ministry Team!

Would you like to be involved in Kids Ministry but can’t serve in the traditional ways? We’re looking to develop a pool of people that:

• HAVE TIME and can help sporadically,
• HAVE SKILLS and are happy to use them, and/or
• HAVE STUFF and are willing to lend to us!

We’re calling it our “I’m Looking For…” List. Here's how it works:

• When a need arises, we'll send out an email with what we're looking for
• You respond if and only if it's a need that you're able and willing to fill

That's it! This is an easy and low-pressure way to help out!

Hoss's Fundraiser

We are excited to team up with Hoss's Steak and Sea House to raise money for a very worthy cause. Please visit the Hoss's location in Grove City, PA on Sunday, May 5 to help us in raising money to benefit the GCAC Alliance Women's National Project.

If you are unable to join us at Hoss's on this date, please consider making a monetary donation through GCAC and designate your offering to the "AW National Project."

Alliance Women

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, May 21 at 6:30pm. Our guest speaker will be Robin Ace, AMCC Assistant Director & Counselor and Abba Ministries Women's Minister. Robin's heart for women is to be encouraged, restored, healed, and empowered by the power of the Holy Spirit. She loves Abba Father and shares with others in the ministry of the Word, counsel, and prayer. Robin also works with individuals who have been trafficked/abused to bring them from darkness to light. We hope you will join us because we can't wait to see you there!

Alliance Women meet every third Tuesday of the month from September to July at 6:30PM.

M&M Fundraiser

Begins Sunday, April 28

Our Sweetest Fundraiser is about to begin. Our HS Ministry students who will be attending the Summer DR Mission will be handing out M&M tubes. Please enjoy the M&Ms and then fill the tube with quarters. Return the tube and help get these students to their fundraising finish line.

Amish Donuts Fundraiser

Support our high school students heading to the Dominican Republic. This summer we have 35 students serving in the Dominican Republic with prayer and evangelism, VBS, construction, medical, and sports focuses.

Preorder an Amish donut/s, a half dozen, or a dozen. Pick up these delicious delicacies at the Outdoor Service on Sunday, May 26. Choose between several flavors – glazed, sugar, coconut, or cinnamon. Order online or drop your hard copy form in the donut box in the lobby. The last day to preorder is Sunday, May 12. Make your donation when you pick up your donuts. Suggested donation is $2 / donut, $10 / half dozen, $20 / dozen.

GCAC is hosting a diaper collection for our Salt & Light partner, Promise of Life Network, from April 21 to May 5. Their New Beginnings program offers parenting education and material assistance to families (with children 3 & under) in our community. The Parents Shops are stocked with new and gently used children’s and maternity items, which are available free-of-charge to families who participate in the educational programming. The Gospel and love of Christ is gently woven into these one-on-one practical conversations.

The program needs diapers and wipes. All donations are appreciated. The highest need is for:

• Diapers size 4, 5, 6 & 7 (Pampers, Huggies, or Luvs are preferred)
• Wipes (for sensitive skin)

Please drop off diapers and wipes to the church lobby between April 21 and May 5.

If you are interested in purchasing other items for the program or having diapers sent directly to Promise of Life, you can use their Amazon WishList.

Meal & Mingle is a find your friends opportunity that will attempt to facilitate connection with others from the church family over a meal during June and July.
