Shooters...
Frozen Five #4 is in the books and it was just a little warmer than #3. During Frozen #3, I think we saw a high of 12 degrees...this weekend it touched 50. We saw much higher scores with this one too. In general, lots of happy shooters.
NEWS
Let's start off with all the exciting news...We are going to open the sporting clays course this Wednesday from 10am - 3pm and Sunday from 10am - 2pm, as long as the weather holds. We are not open for the season yet, this is just a one off week.
NEW WEBPAGE
We'd love to have you check out our new webpage for Scarborough Fish & Game Sporting Clays. Along with new information, and our calendar of events, we are trying to add photos from each event. Click on the button at the bottom of this email, to go to our page (and be sure to bookmark the new page). The entire club site is new, so take a look around to see other things going on at Scarborough.
RESULTS
Frozen Five #4 was very shooter friendly and with the warm weather, we saw many 90s throughout the classes, with many people shooting their personal best scores. We had several shooters tied with 94. David Graham won after tiebreaker and Bert Temple took runner up. Congratulations to both. The 4.5 event seemed to play a little hard, with scores being lower, but it was still a friendly course. Again we had a tie, this time between Michael Keene and Earle Glidden, both with 96. Michael won by tiebreaker...congratulations to both!
PRIZES
Now that Frozen #4 is over that leaves the Big One...Frozen Five #5…You know what that means...prizes, prizes, and more prizes. Make your plans to attend, March 5 and 6, so you can pick up your winnings. We will do the prize drawings live at noon on Sunday, March 6.
