Thursday May 2 National Day of Prayer


Taizé begins at 6:30pm


Contemplative Prayer meets at 6:30pm in Prayer Room.


Saturday May 4 Spring Booyah Sale 11am- 2pm.


Sunday May 5 services at 8am, 10am, and 5pm. The 10am service is in person and live-streamed on YouTube and Facebook. There is an online version of the bulletin available on stannesdepere.org for you to use.


Monday May 6 9am Morning Prayer (Daily Office). The service is in person and streaming on Facebook. 


Tuesday May 7 9am Morning Prayer (Daily Office). The service is in person and streaming on Facebook. 


Bible Study Group meets at 1pm.

SENIOR SUNDAY (Date Change!)

Graduates: If you are a teen who is graduating from High School or know of a teen from St Anne's who is graduating from High School, please let the office know so that we can acknowledge you on Senior Sunday. 

Senior Sunday will be June 16th.

May 2 Taizé


Taizé is a worship that is characterized by soft light, candles, icons, and simple songs in the form of chants. Taizé worship offers a slower form of worship that cents on contemplation, silence, and reflection. St. Anne's will have Taizé the 1st Thursday of every month at 6:30pm in the Chapel.

May 2 NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER


Thursday May 2 is National Day of Prayer. Join us in person or on Facebook for morning prayer at 9am. Or in person for Taizé at 6:30pm.

MEN’S MINISTRY BOOYAH


Men's ministry is having their booyah fundraiser on Saturday & Sunday May 4th & 5th. They will need your help on Saturday May 4th at 8:30 am making and selling booyah for this fundraiser sale at 11:00 -2:00 pm Saturday. Please contact Pete Tooley to let him know you can help.

May 7 Bible Study Group


All are invited to join the Tuesday Bible Study Group as we study The Acts of the Apostles. We meet on Tuesdays at 1:00. Bring your study Bible, no other texts are required.

UTO Collection 


WHAT: United Thank Offering (UTO)…

       Episcopal Church Ministry begun in 1871!

HOW: A small donation box kept at home to offer coins in thanksgiving for daily blessings. “Blue Box”

WHERE: A special collection at St. Anne’s. Funds are then distributed around the world to Episcopal Churches.

WHEN: Sunday, May 12, 2024

WHY: To praise and thank the Lord for his blessing and spread his Gospel Word of “Love one another”. 


May 19 Change in Service Schedule


Summer schedule begins May 19th. This means the Sunday services will be at 9am and 5pm. The summer schedule will run until September 8th. 

May 21 Book Study



Mother Jeannie is offering a book study on Aging Gracefully and Joyfully. The book is Aging Starts in Your Mind: You’re Only As Old As You Feel by Notker Wolf. This book discussion group will meet in person the third Tuesday of each month in the parish library at 10am. 

May 27 MEMORIAL DAY PARADE


The De Pere Kiwanis Annual Memorial Day Parade is Monday, May 27th at 10 am. We will again be sponsoring a float with Veterans riding along. If you are a Veteran, or know one who would like to participate, or would like to walk with the Veterans and hand out candy please contact Bette Tilot at (920) 819-0519. 

Volunteers are needed to help with set up, serving, and clean up. Food and monetary donations are also needed to help offset the cost of the bus for the veterans. Sign up in Miller Hall. If you have questions about the meal please contact Rose Anne Stoia.

June 1 Ministry News Deadline

June 30 A SECOND GALATY SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE 


The Vestry has approved the establishment of a second Galaty Scholarship award for those that have previously received one. In order to apply, please send a letter updating the information from your original application such as where you are on your education journey. If it has been quite a few gap years, tell us what you want to use the scholarship for this time. In addition, a copy of your latest transcript or a written evaluation from your program of study needs to be included also. The deadline for submission is midnight on June 30, 2024. EpiscoWisco Camp


EpiscoWisco Camp registration is open for campers registration and Staff/CIT applications.



Senior Camp (completed grades 9-12): June 9-15

Middler Camp (completed grades 6-8): June 16-21

Junior Camp (completed grades 2-5): June 23-27

Kinder Camp (ages 4-7 & adult): June 27-29

July 8-12 VBS


Vacation Bible School at St. Anne's is for children ages 6-12 years. 

Drop off begins at 8:30am (a breakfast snack will be available)

Program runs from 9am-noon.

Cost is $25*

*If you cannot afford please let us know. We'd be happy to have your child all the same!



We are looking for volunteers to make VBS a success. 

We are in need of crew leader/assistants. 

We are looking for people interested in helping with decorations. These people will be working with John Eggers to receive a project and either bring it home or arrange a time to meet and work as a team. 

We are also in need of donations. There is a wish list in the hallway into Miller Hall you can sign up for. There is also an envelope to give money towards VBS, so we can buy those things that are not available by donation. 


Your VBS director staff is: Jenny Adams, Colleen Mikelson, Kate Lockwood, and John Eggers.

ONGOING REMINDERS

ALTAR FLOWERS

Sign up in the Flower Book in the Narthex to give 1 or 2 bouquets on a special Sunday in memory, in honor, or in celebration of a person or event. The cost is $30 per bouquet. Please consider donating to The Flower Fund. When making a donation make a note in the memo on your check or use a Flower Offering envelope found by the sign-up book.


COFFEE HOUR

Sign up to host Coffee Hour! Hosting involves bringing a treat to share and clean up after. The coffee is provided by St. Anne’s. Coffee Hour is held every Sunday after the 10am service. 


SCRIP

Updated order forms are available. There are always more places to get cards for than are on the order form. If there is a place you are looking for just ask we might be able to get it. Stop by the scrip table following the services to see what we have on hand or place an order. You can also order on raiseright.com. Ask for directions at the scrip table or look at stannesdepere.org.
