"Psalm 63"
Join us in May for the two-part series, "Psalm 63." Our whole world is a sanctuary where we may behold God's beauty and presence. In this series, we will soak in King David's words to help us thirst for God's presence and remember all of his blessings.

Wednesday Night Dinner and Bake Auction, May 1
On Wednesday night, May 1, we will have dinner and our annual bake auction to benefit our Student Ministry. Funds raised will go toward summer camp scholarships for students. Bring a dessert (and money) for the auction and come join the fun! Dinner begins at 5:30pm and the auction will take place 6:00-7:15pm. Sign up for dinner on Sunday connection cards or contact the church office so our cooks can plan accordingly.
What's for dinner this week? Jambalaya (rice with chicken, sausage, and vegetables), salad or corn, and bread.

Men's Breakfast, May 5
All men of the church are invited the first Sunday of each month at 7am for breakfast in the Fellowship Hall. Cost is a freewill donation, and we enjoy casual conversation and a short devotion. Join us May 5!

Student Ministry Update
On May 5, 4-6pm, students in grades 6-12 will have an afternoon of slip and slide kickball, shaving cream balloon fights, an all-out messy war, and other messy items. Someone may be drinking from a sock. Bring your friends, a change of clothes, and a towel!

Mochas for Moms
On Mother's Day, May 12, join us for Mochas for Moms from 9:30-10:30am. A barista will be crafting cups of coffee for our moms to help celebrate their special day!

2024 Stillwater Talent Show Fundraiser
Mark your calendars! On the evening of Sunday, May 19, 6-8pm, Stillwater Church is holding a Talent Show Fundraiser! If you have a special talent that you would like to share, contact the church office at info@stillwaterchurch.com. Admission is $25 per person and will go towards our Stillwater capital improvement projects.

Graduation Sunday, May 19

Men's Emmaus Walk, May 23-26
The next men’s Emmaus Walk will be May 23-26. This retreat in Citronelle is open to anyone wanting to grow in faith and take the next step in their walk with God. Contact Pastor Tony for more information.

Early Learning Center
The ELC is in need of volunteers to host our end of the year program on May 23, spread mulch on the playground, and rock babies in the infant room. We are also seeking infant and toddler teachers. Applicants must be at least 19 years old, love the Lord, and love children. Contact Eliese at eliese@stillwaterchurch.com or 251-675-2904 for information on ways to volunteer and job opportunities.

Backpack Ministry
Women of Hope need people to pack bags, deliver bags, and food items for our Backpack Ministry. The following items are needed: cans of ravioli, spaghetti-o's, soup, pop tarts, Vienna sausage, small packages of cookies, cheese crackers, breakfast bars, Ramen Noodles, instant grits and oatmeal packets, and juice boxes. No items with peanut butter are needed due to allergies. Donated items can be dropped off at our missions table in the church lobby. Sign up to pack bags or deliver bags at the Welcome Desk in the church lobby. Thank you for your support as we supply our area school children with much needed nutritional assistance on the weekends.

Food Pantry
The Food Pantry receives produce and dairy items on the first, third, and fifth Fridays of the month. The truck arrives at the church between 11:00am and 12:00pm and distribution begins at 12:30pm. This produce distribution is for current registered clients of Stillwater Food Pantry. We need volunteers to sort the items and distribute on those days. If you would like to serve in this mission, please contact Therese Brown at (251) 751-5346 or the church office. The Food Pantry also continues to serve residents of Saraland, Satsuma, Creola, Chunchula, and Axis, on Mondays, 9-11am.

Recurring Online Giving Option
Did you know that Stillwater Church has a recurring giving option through our website? This is super easy to set up! We know that life can get busy, and sometimes we forget to give God our 10%, especially if it's been a rough week. We want to encourage you to remain faithful to God's word by "being a cheerful giver." We have also found that by setting up recurring giving we become more intentional about our tithes and offerings. Your offerings will always go towards building God's kingdom. Some ways in which we do that are by supporting our ministry teams and outreach programs!
