What Do You Love? - by Rev. Mark Walz

Every Sunday we sing an opening hymn with the lyric, “Whomever you love, we welcome you.” Loving and being loved in return is a sacred gift.

At last week’s men’s group breakfast meeting, I asked, “what do you love about America in spite of her flaws and failures?”

This month I’m charging you to consider the question, “What do you love about our church?” What do you love about a free church?

Art Wall - by Daryl Wedwick

The north wall in the Community Hall is a nice wall. It serves its structural purpose quite efficiently. However, the most important purpose of that wall is not to merely support a surface covered with bland off-white paint. Rather it exists to display the colorful creations,,,

Membership - by Debbie Bostick

June was a busy month for the Membership Committee. The Committee held an appreciation brunch for greeters, and neighborhood network liaisons, we welcomed five new members, and, thanks to Vivian Walz and the Events Committee, we had a lovely catered meal for the luncheon honoring new members and recognizing those reaching milestones. The luncheon also honored Choir Director Jacob Richardson's family.
