Tickets Going Fast for Next Week's Adult Flashlight Egg Scramble

Let's get ready to scramble, MoVal! Our first-ever Adult Flashlight Egg Scramble will be next Saturday, April 1, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lasselle Sports Park!


The grown-ups only (ages 18+) event will feature a live DJ, great food, and exciting prizes. We’ll be turning off the lights and hiding thousands of eggs all over the park for a chance to win gaming systems, an HDTV, and more! The egg hunt will happen in the dark, so be sure to bring your flashlight!


Registration is only $12 per person. Tickets are likely to sell out, so be sure to register today by visiting moval.org/parks.

Springtastic is Right Around the Corner

Spring is finally here! Kick off the season the right way with our annual Springtastic event on Saturday, April 1, from 9 a.m. to noon at Sunnymead Park!


Springtastic is a fun, free, and family-friendly event featuring games, a play area for kids, and a special egg hunt for your little ones.

Prepare For a Disaster with Free CERT Training

If disaster strikes, are you prepared? Attend our free CERT training program on April 14-16!


Our CERT training program provides 20 hours of free hands-on and classroom training on topics such as earthquake and disaster preparedness, fire safety and suppression, light search & rescue, hazardous material awareness, and more! The training sessions are hosted by the City of Moreno Valley's Office of Emergency Management and held at the Emergency Operations Center, 22870 Calle San Juan de Los Lagos.


The skills learned in this training session can protect you and your family when disaster strikes.


Classes are limited to 30 students, and you must be 18 years of age or older to attend. To sign up, visit moval.org/oem and click on the CERT link, or call 951.413.3800.

Pet of the Week: Luna

Our pet of the week is Luna, a beautiful three-year-old Alaskan Husky. Luna is such a fun and energetic girl. She would be perfect for an active family who loves to go on walks and trips to the Hound Town Dog Park. Her curious and friendly nature has made her a celebrity at the Animal Shelter, and we are sure she’ll be a hit in your home.
