New Location for Committee Meetings

Beginning Monday, April 29, all City Council committees will return to meeting in the Denver Ctiy Council Committee Room, room 391 in the City and County Building.

During the pandemic, the council pivoted to virtual meetings, but this room was not equipped to handle that hybrid environment. It has since been upgraded and is ready for committees to return. The schedule below states the location of each meeting.

Monday

Charter Review Committee — Not Meeting

City Council Meeting — 3:30 p.m. with a recess between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. for the General Public Comment Session. The meeting continues with unfinished business and public hearings at 5:30 p.m.

One proclamation at the 3:30 p.m. session: 

• 24-0586: A Proclamation Recognizing National Interpreter Appreciation Day.  

Two proclamations at the 5:30 p.m. session: 

• 24-0587: A Proclamation Honoring Child Abuse Prevention Month in Denver. 

• 24-0588: A Proclamation Celebrating Whittier ECE-8's 140th Anniversary. 

Three public hearings at the 5:30 p.m. session: 

• 24-0264: Community Planning and Development will present an ordinance changing the zoning classification for 1901 North Oneida Street in South Park Hill. 

• 24-0270: Community Planning and Development will present an ordinance changing the zoning classification for 735 North Race Street in Country Club.  

• 24-0328: Community Planning and Development will present an ordinance changing the zoning classification for 1409-1471 North Julian Street and 3315-3317 West 14th Avenue in West Colfax.
