"So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding." Hebrews 6:1 NLT
Dear Ministry Partner,
The CCI Myanmar National Director had a chance to promote the ministry to several pastors and ministry partners in south-central Myanmar in May. We are looking for a good time to hold a workshop.

Pastor T met ministers of a church and the Youth for Christ mission to promote the CCI ministry. He also, had a one-day meeting with teachers in his area to discuss the ministry and each class. Pastor T and his family are doing great. Currently they are at the farm, as it is the season for harvesting.

Pastor B met pastors and church planters in northwest Myanmar to share about the ministry of CCI. They are happy to see these good tools for church growth and are looking to further their ministry with CCI. Pastor B and his family are doing well at this time. He is leading a class with five students. He continues to meet with some alumni helping in the ministry and training classes, as well as doing follow-up with classes.

Pastor Z continues teaching his classes and all are doing well. He met pastors and ministers in his area for the first time and shared about the ministry of CCI. Many were interested and want to know more about CCI. Pastor Z and his family are doing well. He continues his classes and he has been recruiting some pastors to be able to teach.

Pastor Y and his family are well. He continues to lead the training and is looking for more classes to start.
Pastor M is getting better but is still weak from malaria. Pray for complete healing and strength.
Blessings to you all.

Testimony From a Student
"I have been a church pastor for more than ten years. During that time, I was busy visiting and encouraging believers, thinking that was the main duty in pastoral ministry. Even though I heard about the CCI ministry for more than five years and of their good tools, I neglected to take it. But by studying book # 8 by myself with Pastor K, I realized the necessity of studying the Bible and making disciples, which is my first responsibility. Now, I understand that teaching the Word of God to church members is the only way to protect them from false teachings and is what a pastor must put as their first priority. Thank you CCI for sharing this wonderful tool that has opened my eyes."

Prayer Requests & Praises

Praise points:
o  Able to start a new class with five in the northwest. It is a four-month training plan so that they can be teachers in the next training classes of young people in the church.

o  Able to be with my mother for four days before she went heavenly home. Praise the Lord for His love and goodness for those sweet days with my mom. All the funeral services went well even though that was during the Mocha cyclone. God provided the best weather during the services.

o  Children started to go to school in an area where there are not many challenges or danger to get there.

Prayer points:
o  Pray for the CCI- Myanmar team to go forward and for the people in Myanmar as they all face crisis and are working hard daily to survive.

o  Pray for the people in Rakhain state who were badly hit with Cyclone Mocha in mid-May and now many families need finances to rebuild their temporary shelters and for daily needs. My heart was broken when I received a picture of broken buildings where we held a workshop and God’s Financial Principles in April. Now those pastors and church planters keep sharing their needs in their own communities.

o  Pray for a new class that will be led by Pastor B, for his alumni and his children's education.

o  Pray for my visa renewal appointment on August 15 at 10AM.

o  I have received a school fee for one of my three children. Now, I need sponsors for my two other children. Each child's tuition fee for one year is $2,000 equivalent. Pray with us that God will touch His messengers to meet the needs.

Pray for my back pain, which I have had for two weeks and has been hurting for a long period of time.

o  The staff of CCI Myanmar is looking forward to the Global Conference to be held in Thailand in November. Many would like to go, but do not have the money to buy plane tickets. Many teachers want to join in this inspiring meeting and sharing God’s goodness together. Please pray for God’s provision for this.
