Update on Covid-19
We are strongly encouraging the wearing of masks for the next week or two for Sunday worship, and church meetings during the week. Positive tests have risen and BA.5 is the most contagious virus since the measles.
This is not a mandate, but rather an effort to protect those who are elderly or immuncompromised. Thank you.

College and Young Adult Sunday
August 7
|
|
We have a young adult member who we are sponsoring and will be starting his second year at Austin Seminary this fall. Many of you may know him and have watched him grow up in the church. We thought this would be the perfect Sunday to let him get some experience in preaching and leading worship. The preacher for that Sunday will be our own
Brennan Caviness!
We hope everyone that is able will be in Worship to show him that he has our full support.

Would you like to take a group tour of Scotland? Would you like to travel with church members who would enjoy visiting this beautiful country, but also learning about our Christian heritage as Presbyterians? The tours offer a perfect balance of time together and space to explore on your own. We are exploring the possibility of going to Scotland as a church group in the summer of 2023!
Jim Wallace and his wife, Catherine, are native Scots and enjoying leading groups on tours of Scotland. Jim has pastored in New York and Scotland.
Please send the office an email, office@woodhavenpres.org, letting us know if you might be interested in a trip like this. If we can get 25 people or more, we can travel as a Group Tour. Please feel free to invite family members. It would be great to see if we have members of Woodhaven who would love a trip like this.
For further information, please click here here to go to their website.
Looking forward to hearing from y'all!!
