Greetings!
I hope you are staying safe and well. At LA Civil Rights, we are staying busy with new partnerships, new programming and new ways to stand up against hate and build opportunity in Los Angeles.
Last Saturday, we saw how clearly this work is needed now. The attack at a synagogue in Colleyville was felt far beyond Texas, and like many of you, it shook me to my core. Hate anywhere affects all of us, and we are standing together with our Jewish community in solidarity, and all faiths. We will not be divided by hate.
This is why our team operates at one speed: Faster. Hate and injustice don't slow down, and we won't either.
I can't wait to share with you some of the big things we're building here at LA Civil Rights. But for now, read below to join some of our upcoming programs, get involved with our department, and find out where you see might us next. As always, I'm grateful for you and your partnership in building an LA for All.
Keep the faith and keep the fight,
- Capri Maddox
