South Old Woodward Reconstruction Phase 3 Project Update
July 25, 2022
Progress Update
Last week Angelo Iafrate Construction completed the sewer installation and prep work for the upcoming water main tie-in at the Hazel intersection. J. Ranck Electric and DTE were able to complete electrical work in the intersection as well. Hazel Road was reopened to traffic around 3 p.m. on Saturday.

This week, crews are completing sewer leads and electrical conduit in the Frank Street intersection while preparing for final water main connections at both Frank and Hazel intersections. Frank Street will be closed through at least Tuesday, July 26. All sidewalks and crosswalks remain open during this work. Access to the lot behind CVS is accessible. Please see the temporary detour route below. The City will send additional notices regarding street closures when updates become available.

Iafrate Construction will also continue to work on general site grading on the south end of the project, while J. Ranck and DTE work on electrical items north of Hazel.
