NEW! Poppy Bot: For Population Health

Newly released for Telus PS Suite, the Poppy bot supports primary care with population health management in their EMR. Focused on cervical cancer screening, the bot operates to automate the identification of patients due for cancer screening and free up staff time to focus on hard to reach or high-risk patients.

  • Poppy identifies patients due or overdue for cervical cancer screening, segments them into priority groups and initiates follow-up actions to encourage patients to complete the cancer screening.
  • Ensures that all patients are provided timely reminders to act on booking their cancer screening appointments with minimal staff time commitment.
  • Provides reminders for physicians in the EMR to complete screening during other scheduled appointments.

Quarterly Spotlight: HEAL

Get involved in co-designing the future of care delivery.

The Healthcare Experience and Advancement Lab (HEAL) at the eHealth Centre of Excellence brings together the principles of co-design and design thinking into one approach and then applies this approach to healthcare, ensuring clinicians are involved every step of the way as we work to build solutions that can scale.

HEAL provides a range of different activities – from surveys to workshops – that clinicians can choose to participate in as time permits. We are currently building our roadmap of what’s to come for 2024 and look forward to opening up opportunities for us to collaborate.

While we continue to plan our next “Think Tank”, we want to hear from you! Signing up below means you will get updates and schedules for upcoming HEAL activities. You will also receive a brief email survey, allowing you to share your immediate thoughts.

Do you have an idea, problem statement, or pain point, or want to have your opinion heard on a particular topic? What do you want to see in the future of healthcare?
