The Office of Student Life, Student Senate, and The Friends of Chabot College are thrilled to share Chabot Spring 2022 scholarship applications open today, February 4th! If you or someone you know is a Chabot student, here are some key details to apply for scholarships:

Thank you to all of our generous donors who have made it possible to launch our fifth round of emergency aid supporting basic needs for Chabot College students!

If you or someone you know is a current Chabot College student, here are some key details to apply for emergency aid:
Who: Open to current Chabot College students
What: $500 in emergency aid for students experiencing hardship caused by Covid-19
When: February 4 - February 22, 2022

Late Start Classes Available
|
|
|
There's still time to register for Spring 2022 classes! Many Spring 2022 classes offer late-start options. The majority of classes will be in person. Hybrid and online classes are offered too.
Photo ID and vaccination are required for on-campus classes and services. Due to Covid, most in-person face-to-face courses are being held online through February 6, 2022.

Chabot College Wind Symphony Concert: February 25th

The Chabot College Wind Symphony invites you to a special performance with guest conductor Kevin Sedatole on Friday, February 25th, 7:30 PM, at the Chabot College Performing Arts Center, Building 1300, 25555 Hesperian Blvd., Hayward, CA 94545. General admission tickets are $10.

The Chabot Wind Symphony has been highly praised for "musical and inspiring performances," and "truly fine music making."
Known for adventurous programming, the group pursues a commitment to performing new and historically significant music for wind band.

Join Chabot College's Speaker Series
|
|
|
As part of Chabot's institutional commitment to address systemic racism and to obtain racially equitable student outcomes for Black students, the Office of the President began sponsoring a monthly President’s Speaker Series in collaboration with Chabot's Black Educators Association (BEA) in Spring 2021.
The purpose of the Speaker Series is to provide further opportunities for the college and community to learn from leaders in the field of culturally responsive pedagogy about topics related to anti-racism, culturally responsive practices, and implicit bias.

The next speaker series presentation will be March 3, 2022 and co-hosted with the Chicano Latino Education Association (CLEA).

Calling all Chabot College, CSUEB, and Hayward Unified School District high school students! On Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 9:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M., The Donna L. and Edward E. Martins Foundation will be hosting a Professional Clothing Giveaway FREE for Chabot College, CSUEB, and Hayward Unified School District high school students.
The event will take place at: 30995 Huntwood Ave., #303, Hayward, CA 94544.

Professional clothing and accessories - purses, hats, shoes, scarves, and jewelry - will be available from Donna's collection of primarily women's clothing.
The clothing available ranges from size 2 - Medium, and shoes will be available in size 6, while supplies last.
