Thank you to the North Westside Firefighters for hosting their annual Fundraiser BBQ. As usual, it was a great success and a good time was had by all. Our firefighters had a few additional challenges to deal with that day - medical calls earlier in the day and a lightening strike above Valley of the Sun during the BBQ. They responded to these calls while the BBQ continued. Outstanding, you are our heroes! Please see below for a message from our firefighters. North Westside Fire Rescue would like to thank the community for once again supporting our Annual BBQ.
Your support and donations helped raise $12,000.00. One hundred percent of this money goes back into the community. Past years fundraising helped buy valuable firefighting equipment and support local events and groups.
We would like to thank La Casa Resort for hosting the event. We also could not do it without our generous sponsors. We cannot name them all. A few we would like to give a special thanks to are Fisher's Home Hardware, RBC Vernon, Trutec Contracting Ltd. and Godoy's Insurance Only Inc.
Thank you from All your North Westside Firefighters!
Killiney Beach Water Quality Advisory Removed
