Support Our Socrates Family
The Annual Fund Campaign is our primary opportunity for families to participate in the continued success of our school by helping to bridge the gap left by state and local funding. Your gift supports existing educational programs, new curriculum development, improves facilities, and essential needs of our school.
Our next Chick-fil-A Spirit Night at the Waverly Chick-fil-A is Tuesday, February 1st from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Whether you scoop up a tasty after school snack or a family dinner, 15% of all mobile and app orders will be given back to Socrates Academy! Eat more chicken, and support our school!
CANDY GRAMS

Show your friends and the Socrates staff how you feel with a thoughtful and delicious treat. Socrates PFI will be selling Ring Pops for K-4 and Brownies for 5-9th raise funds for programs to support our teachers. Please consider contributing $1-2 to help make our fundraiser a success. Pre-order for treats will go on sale next week (stay tuned for more details!). Treats will be delivered on Monday, February 14th.

NJHS wants to help fight hunger, and you can help us! Come out and buy concessions (including Hungry Howie’s pizza) during the boys and girls bball game next Monday. Cash and credit accepted!

Carpool Snacks, Drinks, and Gift Card Drop Off
The PFI monthly carpool snack, drink, and $5 gift card drop off is coming on Friday, February 4th during afternoon pickup. We'll meet you at your car in carpool line to collect your donations of snacks and drinks for teacher workrooms, as well as $5 gift cards. We love making engagement a part of your day!
All middle school lunch orders for Friday, January 21 received a credit to their account. If you did not receive a credit, please contact Daniese Ingram at dingram@socratesacademy.us.
 
Hot lunch ordering for March is now open and will close on Thursday, February 10. However, you may still place orders after the 10th - 15th but will incur a late fee of $10 per order (not per family).
The Board of Trustees is searching for someone to fill the role of Treasurer. This position fufills all of your volunteer hours for the year! Interested? Email BOT@socratesacademy.us and include a letter of interest and resume.

SA Athletics - Spring Season

SA Middle School Girls Soccer Try Outs:
Monday February 14th and February 15th at Hellenic Park. Try Outs will begin at 3:45pm-5:00pm. If weather does not permit, we will have tryouts in the SA GYM. Please pack comfortable shoes if we are inside. Hellenic Park- 2700 Mckee Rd  
  
SA Middle School Coed Track
We will have our first practice on Tuesday March 1st. There are no Try Outs for Track. Runners will meet in front of SA Gym at 4:00pm. Practice will be 4:00-5:15pm.
  
Elementary Coed Soccer - Divisions: U6 - U8 - U10 
Our SA Scholars will have the opportunity to play soccer in the Brace YMCA Spring Soccer League. Practices are once per week midweek (Specific Day TBA). Games are played on Saturdays. Practice start week of March 14th , with games played March 26th- May 21st. Registration ends February 25th.
