Easter was glorious and Spring is racing ahead
Friends, if you celebrated Easter at Trinity, count yourselves among the 145 people who worshiped with us! You were treated to a wonderful anthem by Mike Kelly and the choir, a beautifully decorated altar and church, as well as two uplifting services. Thank you for worshiping with us and y’all come back now.
Spring is marching right along, although the weather didn’t receive the memo. A lot will be happening at Trinity over the next couple of months, including two baptisms; one in April and one in May, so stay tuned for those cute babies.
And please put these dates in your calendars. Canon Dena will be joining us on April 28th for one service at 9:00 am, followed by an all-parish meeting to work on our profile. More information on this meeting will come as we get closer to April 28th, but suffice to say, we are moving forward in the profile and search process. In the interim, we are in the capable hands of Mother Susan, shepherding us, providing education opportunities and supporting our ministries, especially pastoral care.
Lemongrass is back! Anyone who has come to a Lemongrass buffet before, you know to get your tickets and get ready for the best food and fellowship there is. Trinity Lemongrass buffet is set for Sunday, May 5th at 1:00 pm. The fundraising team will be putting out all the info you need, as well as selling tickets. Don’t get shut out. This buffet is the bomb. Seriously.
Please plan to come to our Spring clean-up day on Saturday, May 11th. It’s usually just the morning, and junior warden Rob Duncanson is working on the project list. The Property committee will be there working, and we hope you’ll be able to join us. Last year’s clean-up day was an ultra-success. Teams organized the bay room, cleaned the acolyte sacristy, cleaned the church, cleaned the storeroom, cleaned the room off the kitchen and the kitchen, cleaned, cleaned, cleaned. I’m sure there is something I’m forgetting, but we can really use your help for a few hours to spruce the place up.
