MS3s Lead Program with GA Department of Corrections
Nathan Deal scholars Maggie and Danté have developed the Health Education and Literacy in Prison (HELP) project with the Georgia Department of Corrections. This program educates offenders on common health topics such as blood pressure, wellness, health communication, health insurance, and preventive care to help them better prepare for a return to society. More courses will be held this year, with plans to expand the HELP program to more facilities across the state.
