The International Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation (IWMF) recently announced the launch of a new campaign: Accelerate the Cure. This is an amazing time when leading researchers believe they are closer than ever to a cure. Government doesn’t fund rare diseases. It’s up to us. IWMF seeks your participation in a 24-Hour Giving Challenge to support IWMF’s work. Please mark your calendar for April 9th and participate. Alert those who love you and ask them to give too.

ONE WEEK UNTIL THE GIVING CHALLENGE

HERE’S HOW TO PARTICIPATE!

Triple your gift to IWMF from noon EDT on April 9th through noon EDT on the 10th! That's right: gifts of $25 to $100 will be matched 2 to 1. For example, if you donate $100, IWMF will receive $100 from you, $100 from the Giving Challenge Sponsors, and $100 from IWMF matching gift funds - for a total of $300!

But wait, there's more! Thanks to the generous support of Sponsors, gifts from $101 to $1,000 will be more than doubled! Example: If you donate $1,000, we will receive $1,000 from you, the Giving Challenge Sponsors will match $100, and our IWMF Sponsors will match your $1,000! Your gift of $1,000 will total $2,100 to the IWMF. Be sure to participate for your chance to make the most of your gift!

• Mark your calendar: April 9th starting at 12:00 noon EDT and ending April 10th, 12:00 noon EDT.
• The Giving Challenge is only available online with the Community Foundation of Sarasota, so please use your credit card to donate here. Acknowledgement of gifts will come from the Community Foundation.
• Make a donation of $25 to $1,000-plus. Other members of your household can participate, but to be counted as "unique donors", each donor must use a different credit card.
• Reach out to your friends and family to ask them to support you and the IWMF!

The 2024 Giving Challenge is presented by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County (location of IWMF HQ), in partnership with The Patterson Foundation. The IWMF matching gift funds are capped at $104,000.
