Proud parents like to brag about their children. The same is true for me with our alumni. This year, we are putting a spotlight on our alumni by sharing some of their stories. I’m very grateful to Mindy Larson (Director of Alumni Engagement) for her work on this.
The On The Menu Speaker Series has allowed our students, faculty and staff to hear and learn from a wide variety of alumni – Cooper Gould ’15, Mack Cooper ’13, PJ Bevan ’04, and Emma Cerovich ’17. In April, Kyra Webb Cuadrado ’13 will be ‘on the menu.’
Earlier this year, we featured ‘Physicians in the Field’ alumni – PJ Bevan ’04, Emily Lich ’07, Britni Beagley ’08, Michelle Disher ’09, Ashlyn Gruber ’12, McKenzie O’Brien ’12, and Gretchen Pavelich ’19 (on her way).
Feature articles have also been written on Tom Engleby ’18, Davis Hermes ’18, Bo Dwyer ’09, and Kyle Cureau ’04.
Staying in touch with all of our alumni can be like ‘herding cats,’ but we’re making tremendous progress in completing a comprehensive alumni database. If you’re an alum or alumni parent, there are a few things you can do to help us.

3. Nominate an alum for the inaugural VCHS Distinguished Alumni Award that will be presented at the 2024 VCHS Commencement on May 25th and each year afterwards.
