DARTS recertification through 2024 is a stamp of approval from Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service.
Points of Light praised DARTS for its “dedication to building upon their past success and furthering their reach beyond their initial certification through intentionality, reflection, and thoughtful improvement in all they do.”
Volunteers are vital members of the DARTS family. "Volunteers are regarded as an extension of our DARTS staff," said DARTS Director of Advancement Steve Haschig. Volunteers work directly with older adults or caregivers, provide office support, do fall and spring cleanups, serve on the Board of Directors, and lend expertise to special projects.
