Pleasanton Mayor Karla Brown's State of the City set for March 29

"I look forward to sharing this year’s update with the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce and the community at the State of the City address," said Mayor Brown. "I invite Pleasanton residents and businesses to learn about the projects and programs our city has been working on, and some of the exciting initiatives on the horizon that will help ensure our city's growth, vitality, and stability in the years to come."
The luncheon event is a collaborative effort between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce. Tickets to attend are available at www.pleasanton.org, $50 per attendee through March 11, $60 beginning March 12.

Pleasanton Chamber CEO Steve Van Dorn to retire
|

After a 25-year career in the chamber of commerce industry, Steve Van Dorn, President/CEO of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, has announced his retirement effective May 1, 2022.
“I have really enjoyed my four years at the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce. It has been my dream job, very rewarding and certainly challenging due to the pandemic,” said Van Dorn. “Thanks to an awesome team, engaged board of directors and a very supportive membership, the chamber is in a strong position to continue its leadership in advocating for the business community,” he said.

American Legion Post 237 to host in-person mixer next week

As a patriotic Veterans organization dedicated to serving our fellow Veterans and Service members, American Legion Post 237 participates in programs that promote duty and honor through patriotism in our communities and seeks to inspire others in the spirit of volunteerism. Twilight Tasting this Thursday
|
Join Spectrum Community Services for a fundraising event. Our Twilight Tasting will be on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 4:30-8:00 p.m. at Page Mill Winery in Livermore. Our goal is to have fun, enjoy some amazing local wine and raise crucial funds to enhance the quality of life for low-income families and seniors living in Alameda County.
Tasting fee is $15 per person and can be purchased at the venue when you arrive. Page Mill Winery will donate $10 of each tasting fee as well as 10% of proceeds from sales to Spectrum.
