It's July!?
Well, this will be short and sweet, folks! It's a busy summer, and we want to make sure you are all supported as best we can, so please remember to reach out if you have questions or issues!
Sonoma-Marin Fair is over, and it was so great to be back at a full fair! It was the first time for many exhibitors, and once again I want to commend each of you for working together with other youth to help each other succeed! Seeing your animals and artwork exhibited for all to see was amazing. Next comes the California State Fair and then Sonoma County Fair...good luck to each of you exhibiting animals or other projects, remember to have fun and represent 4-H as the amazing ambassadors you are!
Leader training is on August 27th at the YAL center, specific time is still TBA. However, please remember that ALL end-of-the-year documentation (including record books) is due ON or before that date. If your club is struggling at all with getting your documentation together, please reach out before it's too late so every club can remain in good standing! Also, if there are topics you need information on that you want to be discussed at Leader Training, please let us know ASAP-just email me or call me so I can help!
We are looking forward to another new 4-H year, with our adult volunteers guiding our youth members in making the best better, being stewards of this amazing program and growing into tomorrow's leaders. The work you all do as leaders (adult partners!) is so very important and I appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you!!
See you out and about,
Sara

Sonoma 4-H is offering a series of short-term programming this summer for families in Sonoma County. A “4-H short-term program” is a program that takes about 6 hours and it can take place between one day and several weeks. These programs are a great way for families to experience some of the great things 4-H offers to our youth.
There are also great opportunities for teens and adults to join 4-H over the summer to learn how they can help their community by sharing their knowledge with the youth. To learn more about these programs, call our office at 707-565-3027 and check back soon when registration will be active.
