What are kids really doing online? What are the dangers of social media? How do you find a happy balance? If you are a parent, you have most likely asked yourself these questions. Technology and social media are a part of our daily lives, and if you have school aged children it can be scary part of your daily life. Cyber security threats, cyber bullying, inappropriate content, too much screen time, outside influences, and child predators are all issues that can raise anxiety when it comes to the digital world that we live in.
Parents' Survival Guide to a World Saturated by Media
The Baldwin County Education Coalition and Baldwin County Public Schools will be hosting a parent event on Tuesday, July 19, 5-7:30pm at the Gulf Regional Innovative Teaching Conference - GRITC.

Dinner will be provided for the first 150 guests.

Save the Date: 10th Annual Golf Classic
The Annual Golf Classic, presented by Baldwin County Sewer Service, is the Coalition’s only fundraising event. One of Baldwin County’s premiere tournaments, players enjoy complimentary lunch, dinner, beverages, and exceptional prizes. Baldwin County Sewer Service began the tournament in 2012 and selected the Coalition as their beneficiary as proceeds are used to serve the entire county. 
PALM PROJECT, THE COALITION’S LATEST INITIATIVE TO HELP STUDENTS
Palm Project is the newest initiative to help Baldwin County students succeed inside and outside of the classroom.
Palm Project is an in-school and online resource to provide tangible needs for Baldwin County students to reduce barriers in education, enhance academic achievement and support social-emotional development. Palm Project is an initiative through the Baldwin County Education Coalition, and it is composed of committee members, volunteers, and donors who recognize the greatest gift a child can receive is an education.
