Vintage Buses Roll Onto Movie Screens, and Museums Cash In | |
In a touching scene from the 1994 movie “Forrest Gump,” Forrest’s girlfriend Jenny is looking out the back window of a 1959 GM TDM 4515 bus, waving and flashing the peace sign at Forrest, who is dressed in his military uniform.
That yellow and green bus also can be seen at The Museum of Bus Transportation in Hershey, Pennsylvania, which rented the vintage vehicle to the production company that filmed “Forrest Gump.” It is one of the more popular buses at the museum, with visitors eager to recreate Jenny’s scene. CERTS Filing Deadline February 15, 2022
The Treasury has published a user guide for CERTS reporting, due February 15, 2022. The guide provides information on using Treasury’s portal to submit required quarterly reports under the Coronavirus Economic Relief for Transportation Services (CERTS) Program.

Department Of Health Adds New Free COVID-19 Test Sites Across Pennsylvania
The Department of Health today announced that new free COVID-19 testing sites will be operational through a partnership with AMI Expeditionary Healthcare (AMI). Sites include the addition of Greene and Pike counties. Through the AMI partnerships, the Wolf Administration also has additional testing sites in Berks, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Clinton, Crawford, and Mifflin counties. Read more...

New Canadian Border Vaccination Requirement
Effective January 15, 2022, all travelers entering Canada, including bus operators, must use ArriveCAN to provide mandatory travel information, including proof of vaccination. Submission of mandatory travel information can be done up to 72 hours before arriving in Canada. ArriveCAN is available as a free mobile app and can also be accessed via a web-based version. The FRA annual random drug testing rate for Maintenance-of-Way (MOW) employees will be 25% in 2022. For all other DOT Agencies, the 2022 annual random testing rates will remain the same as the 2021 rates. Read more...
