Vernal Jamboree for our 6U and 8U Teams

IMG_6414.JPG

The Provo Predators 6U and 8U teams had their last jamboree of the year in Vernal, Utah. Our teams played hard and had lots of fun while doing it.

Macy Frandsen, 8U: "Going to Vernal was awesome! It was really cold in the rink but we had a lot of fun."

Patrick Snyder, 8U: "The games were awesome! I liked it a lot. It was fun to block goals! Swimming in the hotel pool with the team was fun too!"

Alexandr Trych, 8U: "It was very very fun. Game was long and I am tired. But after we had a pool party and I enjoyed time with my hockey friends in the pool."

Pavel Trych, parent: "It was an amazing family trip. We stayed in hotel two nights. Vernal is a small, unique city with many points to visit. We visited petroglyphs, heritage museum, National history field museum and Dinosaur National Monument. Game was very fun and we WIN!! Go Predators Go!!"

Last Week of Practices for our 6U and 8U Teams

This is the last week of practices for our 6U and 8U teams. We have loved having you all in our program! I have enjoyed watching the growth and confidence I have seen in these players over the season. We hope to see you all again in the Fall. I will continue to send you any emails related to the Youth Hockey program to keep you up-to-date of any important information.

6U and 8U End-of-season Party on Mar 9th 5:15-7:00

Food in Olympic Room 5:15-7pm; North Rink skating 5:30-6:30pm

Friday Goalie Practice with Jared Bussell

IMG_6371.JPG

Our 10U, 12U, and 14U goalies participated in another goalie practice coached by Jared Bussell of Maineiacs Goaltending. Our goalies had full ice and were able to have lots of room to work on the skills they were taught. These practices have been a great opportunity for our goalies to know each other and develop a camaraderie amongst each other.

Brysen Robinson, 12U: "I am getting way better at drills that were difficult for me at the beginning of the season, but now that I am working on them, they are getting easier for me."

Reed Hickman, 12U: "I liked that Bussell explained the fundamentals of goaltending before we got on the ice. Once we got on the ice, this practice really helped me to learn different skating drills that I can practice at team practices, as well as use in games."
