Change in Quarterly eStatements

Quarterly statements from the Daybreak Community Association have recently undergone a design refresh. Furthermore, the sender’s email address and formatting may be different from what residents have seen in the past. From this point forward, residents should expect their quarterly statements to be emailed from CCMC-UT (CCMC@hoa-e.com). The email will be titled “Daybreak eStatement.” See the article below for an example of how this will appear in your inbox.

ASSOCIATION NEWS

Please Respect Our Trails

Daybreak is fortunate to have over 40 miles of walking and biking trails within the community. While The Spoke and The Loop specifically cater to bicycles, a troubling trend of cutting off trails has emerged. Please remain on the designated trails when enjoying these amenities. Not adhering to these rules can result in trespassing and amenity suspension.

AMENITIES & FACILITIES

New Fitness Studio Now Open

The Daybreak Community Center has a new fitness space! The Fitness Studio, located on the first floor, features new equipment like kettlebells, battle ropes, weights and more. The space is now open. Please be sure to follow all posted rules while using the new space.

RecDesk Registration

With the summer only a few months away, we encourage all residents to make sure they are registered with RecDesk. Not only will your RecDesk account grant you access to Daybreak's various pools and amenities - but it will also be used for registration for LiveDAYBREAK's many events this year.

COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Tips Before Landscaping Season

As we approach landscaping season, it's important to know a few things about trees. According to the Resident Design Guidelines, all trees should have at least a 2-foot mulched radius around them. This space helps prevent mechanical damage to the trunk and directs water to the tree as grass and trees compete for resources.

Remember to fill the tree rings with natural mulch material and keep the edging consistent with the rest of the yard.

Another step that is important to remember is pruning. The best time to do this is usually between mid-February and early May when the plants are still dormant. These steps will help keep your trees healthy and thriving.

Pet Etiquette

Picking up after your pet is crucial to keeping Daybreak clean and beautiful. Whether it be in a common space, park strip, a neighbor's yard or even your own - pet wasted needs to be picked up and properly disposed of. Please show respect to the community and clean up after your pet.

Winter Reminders

Using Caution Near Oquirrh Lake

As a reminder, please be cautious while around the lake this winter. Keep a safe distance when the lake is frozen over and never walk onto the ice. Anyone found on the ice will be trespassed and subject to amenity suspension.

Please keep children close and ensure pets are always on leash. Finally, remember ice fishing is never permitted on Oquirrh Lake.

Snow Pushing Reminders

During snow events, South Jordan City requires residents to park on the even side of the street. The Association does not begin snow pushing until the end of a snow event with at least 2” of snow accumulation or more. To stay prepared, please keep a shovel and ice melt handy.

As a reminder, single-family homeowners are responsible for removing snow from the public sidewalks surrounding their homes per South Jordan City Ordinances. Visit the link below for more info.

2024 Dog Park Closure Calendar

We have a new closure schedule for the Dog Park! To protect the Dog Park and ensure the sustainability of the amenity, the park will close for a week each month to allow the turf to recover. These closures will occur between the 1st and 7th of each month.

Please follow the rules of the Dog Park to ensure that it remains an enjoyable place for all residents and their pets. Also, please be courteous and pick up after your pet.
